Be Forever Young

Joe Pilates once wrote, “Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.” I’m not much of a gym rat (insert belly laugh here) but I do appreciate that the more we move, the better we feel. Did you know that one of today’s greatest forms of exercise, core strengthening and conditioning was initially developed by a man while held in an internment camp at the beginning of World War I? He was surely ahead of his time. Over decades of experiment and practice, Joe Pilates added to his program and built upon it, creating a following that continues today. He called his work, Contrology and defined it as the comprehensive integration of body mind and spirit. We call it Pilates. (I call it an amazing workout that leaves me longer, stronger and ready to face the world!)

Aull Pilates & Movement Studio has two state of the art studios, located at Thames Landing in Bristol and Aquidneck Avenue in Middletown. They provide private training, group classes, or a personalized package designed to meet your unique needs and goals. In support of the ‘I Am So Thankful’ raffle, Aull Pilates & Movement Studio has donated an Intro Package of Private Sessions which includes 3 Private Sessions and a Postural Analysis. The winner of today’s prize is Elaine Carvelli – congratulations and thank you for your donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
