Muggles Beware -- This One is for the Potterheads

Despite the fact that I just put the Christmas tree back in the box from whence it came, it is time for the next happy holiday!  That's right kids, it's time to start talking about the dreaded V-Day!

Valentine's Day used to really get under my skin.  A Hallmark holiday, where every guy followed some cheesy script that included chocolates, roses (I hate roses), teddy bears and noisy, overcrowded, overpriced restaurants.  You had to follow the road map, regardless of whether you liked any of those things.  It's time to take the road less traveled!

This year, it's my goal to help you discover new and different tokens to give the ladies in your lives.  (Or, let's be revolutionary and buy our own gifts!  Self-love in 2014!)

My first favorite is actually a limited edition item, so if you like it, be sure to buy it while supplies last.  It also happens to be on sale right now, so if you like it, not only will you get something that won't be on every girl in the room, but you'll save a little cash to spend on something else new and different!

I referenced the Potterheads in my title - this one is straight up Harry Potter.

Harry Potter:    "What does a Patronus look like?"
Remus Lupin:  "Each one is unique to the wizard who conjures it."
Harry Potter:    "And how do you conjure it?"
Remus Lupin:  "With an incantation, which will work only if you are concentrating, with all your might, on a single, very happy memory."

Well, this is what a Patronus looks like to Joseph Nogucci:

The Joseph Nogucci Patronus Charmballa is truly one of a kind. (I know from the looks and questions I have received when I sport mine!)  Check out this description:
"Inspired by one of the most famous wizards in the magical world, we've collected recognizable pieces of his story to bring you this awesome Patronus Bracelet.  Adorned with the symbol of the three brothers to protect and bring strength, this fascinating wrist piece features the lightning bolt that started it all. Ruby red crystals complement the black nylon braiding and keep the Philosopher's Stone close at hand. And how could we forget about the Quaffle. Also represented are two green-eyed silver owl charms to characterize our wizard's loyal feathered companion, and little Pigwidgeon.
Black beads with silver stars bring invisibility a whole new meaning.
Last but not least, at the forefront of this magical piece of arm candy is a sparkly golden crystal shamballa with silver dangling wings representing the fast and elusive game-winning snitch."

My kids, ages 11 and 7 were thrilled to explain all of the different pieces to me, without me reading them the description.  It was so cute watching them turn it and uncover yet another part of the story.

Normally, this item retails for $49, but it is currently available for $29 with FREE shipping too. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity in a little orange drawstring bag.  Get your hands on this baby while you can, by clicking here!  So whether you buy it for a loved one, or you buy it for yourself, pay homage to Harry.

And, until January 31, when you Like Joseph Nogucci on FB, you can enter to win a $100 gift card to spend on yourself or a loved one!  Go on: Live Life Charmed©

I received a limited edition Patronus Charmballa - my opinions and recommendations are, as always, entirely my own.  You know me better than that.
