Everything Happens for a Reason

If I was looking for a sign, this was it.

In updating some broken code on my blog today, the post that I wrote to close out #NaBloPoMo suddenly appeared in the News Update ticker...

And the very best sentence from that passage of Ecclesiastes is this...
"A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance."

That's the way we've all been feeling around here.  Summer is ending, fall is right around the corner and things are changing.

But, more specifically, after years of unforgettable stories and unstoppable storytellers, the live production of Listen to Your Mother is coming to a close with a finale season that is not to be missed.

There will be laughter.  There will be tears.  Lots and lots of crocodile tears, and pee your pants tears.  Hashtags upon hashtags upon hashtags.  #stillunpublished  #youhadonejob #wheniseaster Inside jokes and strangers turned best friends and biggest champions.

Listen to Your Mother has been a part of the Providence landscape since 2013.  I got to be a part of the inaugural show and I am thrilled to be a part of the finale.

We're hard at work here finalizing a date, location and sponsors.  Stay tuned for auditions, ticket sales and a look back at the stories of years past.

Read a message from Ann Imig, the mother of LTYM here.

Listen to Your Mother

We love you Ann!

I am honored to stand beside my colleagues and friends, Co-Producer, Chelley Martinka and Director, Brianne DeRosa to bring the curtain down in Providence this Mother's Day.  And my gratitude wouldn't be complete without a giant virtual hug to our former Co-Director and friend, Lauren Jordan. You gals complete me.  :P
